Save the Date - Rose & Ash

Romantics Rose and Ash have been together since they were teenagers. They both had a rough idea of what they wanted - something simple, modern, with a hint of fun - that represented them and the eclectic wedding they had planned.

We pared down the text to the bare minimum, letting the detail in the illustration sit calmly behind the beautiful copper foil. The clean sans serif type is a really satisfying contrast to the drawing of the ash flower and rose, and the modern pop of colour with neon watermelon brushed edging is the added fun needs in this save the date.

The illustration in this design is delicately letterpress printed in an ombré grey fade. This is done in one print pass, though there is a time limit to this method. The longer the press is run, the further down the print the ink moves, due to the oscillating ink roller (We like a challenge!).
