A wonderful, touching quote from Dinah Maria Mulock Craik - and a print we thought would be suited to any wall space, but also as a nice idea for a wedding gift or anniversary present.
The quote reads:
'Oh the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff & grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.'
This quote is letterpress printed onto 160gsm 100% cotton paper. It was printed using a technique known as split fountain, producing a beautiful Ombré effect. We used a light blue and a fresh green ink, perfectly suited to the gentle sentiment of the quote.
The print is packed with a grey board back and a cellophane wrap to the keep the print flat and safe. It is A4 in size (297 x 210mm).
