Print Your Own Notebook Drop in Session - Friday 30th June 2023 3.00pm to 5.00pm

Come and experience the art of letterpress printing and print your own wood type letterpress notebook in our special On Paper Festival drop in session.

Choose from a selection of wood type and typeset either your initials or a short word. We'll help you lock-up your chosen letters in our Stephenson Blake proofing press using wood and metal furniture, then you'll ink up using the ink colour of your choice. Choose from a selection of different coloured blank A5 covers and pull your very own letterpress printed wood type notebook cover!

With your notebook cover hot off the press, you'll get choose the inside pages for your notebook: dot, plain or lined, with a choice of colourful end papers. We'll then spiral bind your notebook, ready for you to take home.

Drop in any time between 3 and 5pm. Depending on numbers at any given time, there may be a bit of a wait for your turn printing.

When: Friday 30th June 2023, drop in between 3.00pm and 5.00pm.

Where: Walcot Chapel - just around the corner from our shop at 134 Walcot Street, Bath.

Is there an age limit for the event?
Anyone can attend our events, though unfortunately we do not allow children under 12. Those under 16 we do request are accompanied by an adult. Please do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.

What should I bring?
You don't need anything - we'll provide everything you need for this event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to you?
There is parking in Bath in several locations - the nearest to us would be the Podium car park or the Cattlemarket car park. Train services to Bath Spa are very regular and the walk to Walcot Chapel takes around 25 minutes.

Cancellation Terms
Please ensure you can attend the event before booking, as tickets for the On Paper Festival are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are ill, shipwrecked, or unable to attend for any other reason, we are unable to swap your date, though you are more than welcome to find a friend that can take your place.

In the rare circumstance we are unable to run the event, your ticket will be swapped for store credit.
