Join us for an evening with Lee John Phillips, incredible illustrator and art educator, talking about The Shed Project, and how to make a life being a creative.
The Shed Project is a self initiated project to catalogue and illustrate every item in Lee's late grandfather's tool shed. We'll be lucky enough to have a selection of Lee's sketchbooks so you can have a closer look at them in real life. THere will be a Q&A session at the end of the talk.
Is there an age limit for the talk?
Anyone can attend our talks, though we think you'll get the most out of it if you have a keen interest in illustrating or starting a creative business. Those under 16 we do request are accompanied by an adult. Please do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
What should I bring?
You don't need anything - we'll provide some simple refreshments and a seat. We encourage questions so you are welcome to bring any with you.
What are my transport/parking options getting to you?
There is parking in Bath in several locations - the nearest to us would be the Podium car park or the Cattlemarket car park. Train services to Bath Spa are very regular and the walk to Walcot Chapel takes around 25 minutes.
Please ensure you can attend the talk before booking, as tickets for the On Paper Festival are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are ill, shipwrecked, or unable to attend for any other reason, I’m afraid we are unable to swap your date, though you are more than welcome to find a friend that can take your place.
In the rare circumstance we are unable to run the talk your ticket will be valid to book onto another talk or to use in store.
